This townhouse is a spacious five bedroom, four and a half bathroom home located right on Cozumel’s San Francisco Beach. Complete with beach-front patios, balconies, and a pool with a patio, you can walk for miles on beautiful, soft, white sand lapped by turquoise Caribbean water and feel like you’ve never left home.

A grand entrance driveway brings you to the house itself, a natural river-rock lined water fountain, and to a palapa-covered parking area big enough for two cars.

The patio area overlooks the white sand beach and a wooden bridge leads down to the ocean level and to a natural trail that leads through the privacy screen of trees that run parallel to the shore line.

On the north side of the pool area, there is a wooden deck covered with palapa and planter filled with beautiful tropical plants. The home is very warm and luxurious. Unique tile work and natural elements like raw wood decorate the sunken living area in the center of the house. The dining room is raised and overlooks the pool area towards the beach, and has no wall to separate it from the living area. The dining room table can accommodate eight guests and the kitchen sits back on the other side of the dining room. A breakfast bar in the adjacent kitchen can accommodate another four guests. There is also a double sofa bed in this area.

There are two bedrooms on the floor. The first bedroom with two double beds overlooks the long winding road that leads to the entrance of the house and has its own bathroom and its own private patio area accented by the natural rock filled fountain in the entrance of the house.

The second bedroom on the ground floor is also a study. It has sea views and access to the pool area through sliding glass doors. It has a queen sized bed and is served by a half bathroom off the hallway.

Upstairs are three more bedrooms. The master bedroom has a huge bathroom with double sinks in the center of the room and large outside double shower. The designer used beautiful hand-painted tiles as well as modern tiles here. One bedroom has its own private bathroom and balcony overlooking the jungle. Another has sea views, a balcony and another private bathroom.

Rustic cabinets throughout the house are made from mahogany wood frames inlaid with native wood. One of Cozumel´s finest artists, Galo, was commissioned to provide the artwork throughout the house. The interior designer chose many Mayan and Mexican pieces as well to accent the mood and style of the house.

The architect provided a rooftop deck area perfect for viewing the breathtaking sunsets. And the jungle area separating the house from the ocean has been selectively cleared allowing you a good view of the ocean. Ornamental indigenous plants have been also been added to complement the many natural shrubs.

The beach clubs along this shore line are open to the public and offer many ocean sports including Jet Ski rentals, row boats, and exotic tropical drinks are a must.
