"La Estancia" Homes

“La Estancia” is a single-family luxury home in a gated-condominium community being developed on a 5-hectare site in the mid-Pacific coastal region of Costa Rica. When completed there will be just 38 deluxe residences constructed with a consistent Spanish inspired Mediterranean style using the highest quality materials and standards.
“Casa Descanso” Homes
Has 340 square meters (approximately 3,657 square feet) on 2 levels.
On the 1st level there is a 16.75 square meter (180,28 square feet) “chef’s kitchen” finished with granite counter tops, over-height custom solid wooden cabinets, plus stainless steel deluxe appliances.

The largest of La Estancia’s models, has 390 square meters (approximately 4,200 square feet) on two levels. This is truly an extraordinary home for the tropics.
There is an enormous living area and a separate dining area, where up to 16 guests can be comfortably seated. Both the living area and dining area open out to the huge covered terrace. The kitchen is over 26 square meters (almost 281 square feet) finished with granite counter tops, an island (with options for plumbing and electric), custom made oversize solid wood cabinets, and deluxe stainless steel matching appliances – Everything a demanding chef needs.
The covered terrace is 37 square meters (397 square feet) for outdoor living on sunny days and even when it rains. A luxuriously finished “powder room” is located off the living room.
The master bedroom suite is 42 square meters(over 453 square feet) including an ultra luxury very private bathroom that can be finished in ceramic tile, stone, or marble (as an extra cost option) and a spacious walk in Closet.
Adjoining the master suite is a library/office/sitting room of 18.6 meters (about 200 square feet) that can be converted to a separate bedroom with its own full bath. There are two large guest bedrooms on the floor, each with its own balcony.
The 2-car garage has a bedroom and bath (with shower) that can be assigned to domestic staff or converted to an owner’s locked storage room.   • Multiple control valve fresh water supply system and distributed hot water heaters that can be independently controlled
  • Reinforced conduits with check boxes for all water, electrical wiring, cable TV coaxial, security systems, and IT networks
  • Ceramic floors throughout with non-skid stone floors in baths (optional marble) in selected bathrooms.
  • Granite countertops in kitchen and baths
  • Central air conditioning systems with individual remote control units in each room. Air condtioning system has a built-in dehumidifier setting that removes moisture with a minimum of power consumption.
    Local telephone service is now generally readily available and inexpensive, less than $12 per month per line. Cell phone charges for ICE local service are usually under $15 a month. Telephone and cellular mobile telephone services are provided by the state-owned monopoly, ICE, which can only charge rates strictly regulated by the government. Out bound international land line phone calls are $.55 to $1.00 per minute to the US plus sales taxes. GSM international cellular phones work reasonably well in the Central Valley and many resort areas along the Pacific coast. ICE is now offering a version of ADSL-DSL up to 256 Kbps, E-mail service is now usually quite reliable in developed areas of the country.
